Family holiday in Ibiza
Considering a family holiday in Ibiza?
Oh no! What will the neighbours say?
“They are going to Ibiza with their children? Ecstacy for breakfast and cocaine for lunch! Oh lord, I better call the social services right away!”

Ibiza has a reputation for wild parties and plenty of substance-use and abuse. But, this is not something the average tourist will be exposed to, unless he seeks it. In July and August the clubbers dominate the streets of Ibiza Town, and young Brits gets drunk in the West End district of San Antonio. But, if you are having a vacation in Playa Bossa, Sant Euliana, Portinatx or other resorts in the island, you will not notice any of this “mayhem.”
April, May, September and October are quiet months clubbing and party-wise. The clubs close in late september and you will notice that the atmosphere is entirely different from the wild summer nights in July and August.
Overall I will say that it is safe to visit Ibiza for families. The image of the party island still lingers, but for most part of the year, and in most of the resorts, it’s quiet and family friendly.
