Playa Bossa
A long sandy beach, inexpensive hotels and plenty of fish & chips.

A view of Playa Bossa.
Platja d’en Bossa, or Playa Bossa as it is known as in tourist brochures, is a beach resort 2-3 km from Ibiza Town. In the peak season of July and August the place is most known for the hedonistic parties of the beach club Bora Bora where the music is pumping and the bikinis are minimal.
The resort is a bit faded to the trained eye. You can easily notice that it is built in the 1970s/1980s. A lot of uninspiring apartment blocks and hotels – design connoiseurs (did I spell that right) will not enjoy the place.
So, who will? If you are after a place with a long sandy beach and value for money accommodation – this is a good choice in Ibiza. The large hotels who were built 20-30 years ago can’t take top prices, in the current economic climate they have to fight for business.
Restaurants and bars with a British flavour
There’s a fine selection of British bars and restaurants. Most of them offer cheap pints of lager and make sure to serve chips with everything. If you have more “advanced” needs (You snob!) in the food and drink department you will need to head towards to Ibiza Town.
design connoiseurs (did I spell that right)
WRONG
I think you mean “connaisseur” it’s from the French verb connaître (to know).
If you go to Ibiza, German is a language that you should speak, there are a lot of German girls.
It was great in 2001, but no hedonistic parties seen.
Sea, sun, beach, clubs,…
