Ibiza Truth

Ibiza Truth

Honest travel guide – The naked truth.

Dalt Vila

In most guides and tourist brochures this is hailed as one of the top attractions of Ibiza. It is the old town of Ibiza, covered by walls, to keep pirates and enemies out. The structure is impressive, but once you have seen it, there is not much to do. You can walk through the intimate streets and soak up the atmosphere, but there is not really anything to see or do.

Entry to Dalt Vila

Entry to Dalt Vila

A few restaurants with hefty prices, many small boutique like shops with overpriced clothes and crafts. That’s it.

By all means, it is a cosy little place, but you will have seen it and taken your photographs in less than 20 minutes.

I won’t call it a tourist trap, because it’s free to visit, but do not expect much after you have entered the portal.
