Figueretes
Figueretes is a beach resort/suburb 1 km from the center of Ibiza town. The place has two decent beaches which fill up in the summer months.

Figueretes beach
Figueretes is dominated by tall apartment blocks and hotels. Most of them built in the 1960s and 1970s. Plenty of bars and restaurants are scattered around. If you walk a few hundred metres away from the beach you will usually find the places to be more authentically Spanish, while the beach-side cafes are more tourist orientated.
Cheap hotels
There are many outdated apartment-hotels in the area. What they lack in stylishness, they make up for in prices. Outside the peak season you can get spacious rooms at these hotels for €30-40 a night, excluding breakfast. Prices double in peak season. In a value for money perspective this is very good.
Many savvy Ibiza-tourists choose to stay at a cheap hotel in Figueretes and spend 10 minutes walking into Ibiza-town to enjoy the nightlife and restaurants there.
The Grupo Playa Sol seems to own many of the hotels in the area. They have lots of late deals and offers through their own website, but also through Last Minute, Expedia and Hotels.com.
