Closing sales
Ibiza lives off its seasonal based tourism. Shops, bars and restaurants are open between April and October. When the shops starts to prepare for closing down towards the end of October you can get your hands on some real bargains.
It is not unusual to see reductions of 50% or 70% in October as shopkeepers prepare to close down for winter.
In the shops in Ibiza town you can look for the “total liquidazione” signs, which means that it’s an “going out of business” sale.
