My Ibiza Travel Guide Secrets
I welcome you! And if you are a woman – I kiss you!
Welcome to my Ibiza travel guide.
My name is Benny Bambo and I am honoured to have you here. Allow me to share some secrets about Ibiza. These are top secret things I have discovered about the island while I was staying there.
1. Jump on a ferry to Formentera and be a nudist

Photo: Path to a nudist beach in Formentera.
Ibiza has its fair share of nudist beaches, but if you really want to go all bare. Take a ferry to the neigbour island of Formentera, then hire a bicycle and cycle to Platja Illetas, a very nice beach for nudists. Probably the best in the Balearics.
As you can see from my photo (top left) I tend to get a very disgusting tanline, so I need to get myself over to Formentera ASAP!
2. Cafe del Mar is overrated
If you went to Cafe del Mar in the 1980s you were the cool cat of the block! But today – sadly, you are not. It’s very touristy and the chill out feeling that made is famous is disappearing. Stay away to avoid becoming disappointed.
3. Visit in early June
The best time to visit is in early June. The weather is fine. The plane tickets are cheap and the hotels are offering great discounts. And all the clubs are open.

Photo: June is a great month.
4. Use the bus to San Antonio and Santa Euliana
If you are staying in Ibiza town you should take a bus to the other big places on the island. Taxis are expensive (€20 each way) and there’s hardly much time to save, the buses are efficent and cheap. If you are going to more remote places you may want to consider taking a taxi.
That’s my 4 top tips to Ibiza, or 4 little known secrets as I want to call them. I will be adding more stuff to this page as time goes by.
See you later alligator!
